The newly announced Hisense C2 Series of 4K Laser Mini Projectors combines cutting-edge technology with a compact design to enhance home entertainment experiences. The C2 Series employs Hisense's Tri-Chroma™ triple laser technology, which aims to improve color accuracy and brightness across various environments, from small rooms to larger home theaters. The series includes three models: the top-tier C2 Ultra, the mid-range C2 Pro, and the base C2 model. Each has features like auto keystone correction, autofocus, and color adaptation to make setup easier and enhance the viewing experience. With a wide range of projection sizes and some smart integration options, the Hisense C2 series aims to be versatile enough for a variety of entertainment needs. One of the main features of the Hisense C2 series projectors is the Tri-Chroma™ triple laser technology, which provides better color accuracy and brightness. According to Hisense, this technology covers 110% of the BT.2020 color space, an improvement over many traditional projectors that struggle to maintain color precision in brighter environments. In addition to color accuracy, the C2 series offers flexibility in its projection range. It can display images as small as 65 inches or expand up to 300 inches, making it adaptable to most room sizes. This flexibility could appeal to users looking for a projector that works equally well in different spaces, such as a living room, a dedicated home theater, or even an outdoor setting. The Hisense C2 series also comes with features designed to simplify its use. Auto keystone correction, for example, automatically adjusts the image to ensure it appears rectangular, even if the projector isn’t placed directly in front of the screen. Autofocus and wall color adaptation further helps optimize the image in different lighting or projection conditions. These features could be useful for users who want a projector that doesn't require constant manual adjustment.

The C2 models offer a rotation feature, allowing horizontal rotation up to 360 degrees and vertical adjustment of 135 degrees. This makes it possible to project onto unconventional surfaces, including ceilings, potentially catering to those looking for flexible viewing options in various settings. Each model in the series supports 4K resolution and includes Dolby Vision® and HDR10+ technology for enhanced picture quality. MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) technology is also built into the C2 projectors to provide smoother motion scenes, which could benefit users interested in gaming or watching fast-paced content like sports.

The C2 series builds upon the earlier Hisense C1 model, offering several upgrades that may appeal to users seeking more advanced performance or ease of use. One of the most significant changes is the shift from the C1's dual-laser setup to the C2’s triple-laser system, which aims to deliver improved color vibrancy and overall image quality. Another notable difference is the increase in brightness. The C2 Ultra model, for instance, offers up to 3000 ANSI lumens, whereas the C1 has a maximum brightness of around 2200 lumens. This difference makes the C2 better suited for use in rooms with varying light levels, including brightly lit spaces where traditional projectors can struggle. Audio performance is another area where the C2 has made strides. The C2 Ultra, in particular, comes equipped with a built-in JBL 2.1 channel audio system, which includes a subwoofer. This provides a more complete audio solution compared to the C1, which did not offer the same integrated sound capabilities. Additionally, the C2 models incorporate smart features like auto keystone correction and wall color adaptation, which the C1 lacked. These features aim to make the projector easier to use in a wider range of scenarios, eliminating some of the manual setup that the C1 required. Design-wise, the C2 models are more compact and portable than the C1, which benefits users who need a projector that is easy to move or store. Within the C2 lineup, there are three models which differ in terms of brightness, features, and price. The C2 Ultra is the flagship model, designed for users who prioritize both picture and audio quality. Its 3000 ANSI lumens of brightness and 2000:1 contrast ratio are intended to produce clear, vivid images, even in brightly lit rooms. It also features certifications like IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision®, aiming to provide a more immersive viewing experience. For audio, the C2 Ultra includes a JBL 2.1 channel system with a subwoofer, offering a built-in audio solution that complements its visual capabilities. This all-in-one package is geared toward users who want a premium home theater experience without needing external speakers.
